Environmental Approvals and PermittingWatercourse Alteration and Development ApprovalsStrum has been involved in numerous site development projects where various issues related to development on properties with watercourses, bogs, wetlands and other constraints have been addressed. One project involved applying for approvals to allow new construction in an area adjacent to a watercourse. Working with regulatory officials and the developer, Strum was able to gain approval from the Nova Scotia Department of the Environment and federal authorities to undertake watercourse alterations while protecting sensitive areas using proactive development methods. Erosion was controlled, careful attention was paid to ensure watercourse incursions were assured and the development succeeded. >>>Return to Environmental Approvals and Permitting<<<
