Location

On April 1, 2006 Strum Environmental moved into our new home at 1355 Bedford Highway. The building was named "Railside" to keep the historical connection with the former CN Rail site.

The location was constructed taking into consideration environmental factors. For instance, much of the main level is finished with a bamboo floor. Bamboo grows quickly and abundantly, making it one of the most renewable and abundant natural resources on the planet.

As well, the carpets we chose are from a company who holds an International Environmentally Preferable Product (EPP) Certification and is recognized by the Federal Ministry of Environment's Environmental Choice Program (ECP). The carpet also makes use of recycled materials and is low emitting.
