Industrial and ManufacturingEnvironmental Auditing, Canadian Tire Stores, NewfoundlandStrum was retained by Canadian Tire Real Estate Limited to complete an audit of all 12 Canadian Tire stores in Newfoundland. The audit was initiated as a proactive response to the anticipation of a new waste oil storage and handling regulation. The audit included a comprehensive assessment of each store, with a focus on waste oil infrastructure and waste oil handling procedures. The final audit report included a conformance plan to ensure that non-compliance issues were addressed at each location. Strum project managed the implementation plan. This involved the development of operational procedures, and the coordination of infrastructure upgrades where required. Strum completed the application process and achieved a 'certificate of approval' for waste oil storage at each store location. This project involved all 12 Canadian Tire Stores in Newfoundland, and was completed over a 7 month period. >>>Return to Industrial and Manufacturing<<<
