University Asbestos Audit

Strum is presently completing a campus-wide audit of hazardous materials and asbestos at a University in Atlantic Canada. Among four other campuses we are working with at this time, this University has developed an internal health and safety regimen that requires asbestos to be clearly identified in all areas and that a safe work practices are present for working with and in the proximity of asbestos containing materials is present for staff and students. Strum has audited all campus-wide facilities and is developing a detailed database recording the location of these materials, their condition and how to operate in proximity to the materials. In addition, Strum is consulting to develop a management strategy for these materials and provides campus authorities with handling specifications: air quality auditing services; and close out sampling; and documentation.
