Strum has experience in assisting industries in meeting their requirements under the HRM By-Law W101. This By-Law stipulates both physical and chemical criteria for wastewater that can be discharged to the municipal stormwater and sewer systems. As many businesses and industries produce liquid waste as a by-product of their activities, it is important to ensure that these W101 criteria are met. Strum can complete necessary representative sampling to determine if a company is in compliance with this regulation. In cases were W101 criteria are exceeded, Strum can provide cost effective solutions to meeting the necessary requirements.
