Commercial Site Assessment

Strum undertook the assessment, remedial work and compliance of a large section of a city waterfront. The project was undertaken to remove a former rail yard site and redevelop the waterfront area. Extensive testing, drilling and assessment activities revealed a myriad of impacts which had to be evaluated, risk assessed and in many cases removed or managed in place with attention to mitigating impacts on as yet to be developed buildings. An Ocean Dumping permit was completed, access roads were built, several large office buildings were developed and a marine facility was eventually constructed during the project.
